Job description for Webtoon Production Manager (PD) at PT Manhwa Kita Culture
Job Responsibilities
• Create and manage project schedules based on production timelines in coordination with artists and other team members.
• Manage and monitor the work of in-house and freelance artists, including their daily, weekly, and monthly targets and self-reporting.
• Monitor the progress and workflow of webtoon projects from start to finish.
• Track project progress and make sure all tasks are completed on time and according to schedule.
• Coordinate with partners and clients regarding submissions, project progress, feedback, and revisions.
• Communicate client and partner feedback to the production team and make sure revisions are completed properly.
• Keep all project files, documents, and trackers organized and up to date.
• Check the quality of artwork and make sure it meets the expected quality standards.
• Identify potential issues during production and follow up with the relevant team members to keep the project on track and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare translated scripts and storyboards to help the production team start their work efficiently.
Requirements
• Experience in Webtoon Production or Project Management is preferred.
• Fluent in Korean, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of webtoon production workflow.
• Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills.
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
• Able to monitor and coordinate in-house and freelance artists.
• Good quality sense for webtoon artwork.
• Passionate about webtoons, manga, or similar content.
• Knowledge of Clip Studio Paint is a plus.
• Experience working with Korean clients or webtoon studios is a plus.
