Job description for Web Developer at PT MAZUTA BIMA TEK

Job Description:

Develop, maintain, and enhance company e-commerce websites using WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor.
Develop and customize website features, themes, and WordPress plugins using PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
Implement website designs from the Internal Design Team into responsive and functional web pages.
Integrate and maintain third-party APIs, including payment gateways and shipping services.
Monitor and optimize website performance, responsiveness, compatibility, and security.
Conduct testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and deployment of website updates and new features.
Maintain technical documentation related to website structure, configuration, plugins, and deployment.
Collaborate with the Project Lead, Design Team, and other departments to deliver website requirements and resolve technical issues.
Monitor and resolve production issues while ensuring website reliability and functionality.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Web Developer, preferably in e-commerce.
Strong hands-on experience with WordPress, WooCommerce, and Elementor.
Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience in developing and customizing WordPress plugins from scratch.
Experience with responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with third-party API integrations, particularly payment gateways and shipping services, is preferred.
Understanding of website performance optimization and web security practices.
Familiar with Git/version control and debugging workflows.
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and server management is an advantage.
Familiar with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills and able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Willing to be placed in Surabaya.
