Qualifications
- Solid understanding of wastewater treatment processes and hands-on experience in operating treatment equipment. Able to perform daily inspections, chemical dosing, parameter adjustments, and basic troubleshooting independently.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in wastewater treatment or environmental facility operations is preferred. Holds at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and hardworking. Willing to work in shifts, demonstrates strong safety awareness, works well in a team, and is able to maintain accurate operational records and support inspections by environmental authorities.
- Possesses a valid POIPAL (Wastewater Treatment Plant Operational Responsible Person) certification.
Job Description
- Responsible for the operation, inspection, and routine maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant to ensure all treatment processes run properly.
- Monitor wastewater quality regularly to ensure effluent meets applicable environmental standards.
- Promptly identify and handle any non-compliance or abnormal operating conditions to prevent environmental risks.
- Complete and maintain accurate operational records to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
