Job Role:
This position focuses on the Warehouse & Distribution (W&D) and 3PL sectors, which serve as the backbone of contract logistics. You will be responsible for identifying client pain points in their logistics flow and proposing integrated warehousing, land transportation, and distribution plans that drive end-to-end efficiency.
The role is highly operational and requires a proactive approach to customer engagement, including regular visits to project sites to understand physical logistics constraints first-hand. You will work with a high degree of autonomy to prepare sales plans and reports that align with the broader division’s revenue targets. Products and solutions include air freight services, sea freight and ocean specializations, digital visibility and tracking tools, specialized handling for healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and dangerous goods, as well as one-stop logistics and supply chain consulting services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed sales plans, sales reports, and specific sales targets to drive W&D growth.
- Conduct frequent visits to customer offices and project sites to gather technical requirements and build on-the-ground relationships.
- Maintain a strong and verifiable achievement record, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
- Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment to ensure the W&D division meets its broader commercial goals.
- Assist in designing 3PL and contract logistics solutions that integrate warehousing with multimodal transportation.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in 3PL or Warehouse & Distribution (W&D) customer segment, with a proven track record handling large clients in the freight forwarding industry, currently at Supervisor (SPV) or Assistant Manager level.
- Comprehensive understanding of warehousing services, inventory management, 3PL contract logistics, and the ability to design structured sales plans and high-retention contract logistics deals.
- Ability to evaluate physical project sites and identify complex logistics requirements.
- Fluent in English for business communication, including client meetings and negotiations, with strong relationship management, presentation skills, and a goal-oriented, proactive, independent professional approach.
