About the role
This is a full-time position for a waitress in a bar setting, responsible for delivering excellent guest service, managing orders, and maintaining bar operations.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests, providing them with menus and beverage lists
- Take and serve drink and food orders accurately and efficiently
- Recommend specialty drinks or menu items based on guest preferences
- Ensure the bar and seating area are clean, well-organized, and fully stocked
- Process payments, handle cash, and operate the POS system
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Assist in setting up and closing the bar, including cleaning duties
About you
- Previous experience as a waitress, preferably in a bar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages and cocktails is a plus
