WAITER – HOTEL TUGU BALI

About the Role

Hotel Tugu Bali is looking for a cheerful, warm, and service-oriented Waiter to join our Food & Beverage team. Beyond serving food and beverages, the Waiter is expected to create memorable dining experiences through genuine hospitality, engaging guest interaction, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide warm, attentive, and personalized service to guests.
2. Take orders accurately and ensure food and beverages are served according to Hotel Tugu Bali standards.
3. Maintain excellent knowledge of menus, ingredients, beverages, and dining concepts.
4. Introduce dishes, cultural elements, and unique Tugu experiences through engaging storytelling.
5. Build genuine connections with guests and anticipate their needs.
6. Perform natural upselling and suggestive selling based on guest preferences.
7. Handle guest requests and feedback professionally.
8. Maintain cleanliness, table setup, and restaurant presentation.
9. Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Bar, and F&B team members for smooth service.
10. Represent the warmth, culture, and hospitality values of Hotel Tugu Bali.

Qualifications

1. Minimum SMK/SMA Hospitality or related field; Diploma graduates are welcome.
2. Minimum 1 year of experience as a Waiter in a hotel or quality restaurant.
3. Good command of spoken English and confident communicating with international guests.
4. Cheerful, friendly, expressive, and approachable personality.
5. Enjoys interacting with guests and has a natural ability for storytelling.
6. Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
7. Willing to learn about Indonesian culture, history, food, and the stories behind Hotel Tugu Bali.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Well-groomed and professional in appearance.
10. Positive attitude, proactive, and willing to learn.
11. Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
12. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
