Job description for Vocal Teacher at Bee Smart Education Center
We are seeking a fun and enthusiastic Vocal Teacher (Full Time) to join our team of passionate educators. As a Vocal Teacher, you will inspire the next generation of singers by teaching individual and group lessons focused on sustainable vocal technique and performance preparation (recitals, auditions, stage presence).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver insightful lessons that cover vocal technique, theory, repertoire, and musical interpretation.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
- Prepare students for recitals, concerts, competitions, and other performance opportunities to showcase their talents.
- Participate in institution events, workshops, and collaborations to create a vibrant musical community.
- Develop engaging and comprehensive lesson plans and activities, tailored to individual student needs and skill levels.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor in Music Education or Performance (Vocal major) or equivalent experience. Having other supporting education and skills in Piano/Violin is a plus!
- Demonstrated experience teaching vocal to students of various ages, abilities, and settings. Having experience teaching Preschoolers is a plus!
- Committed to excellence in educating especially in music, encouraging approach to teaching, and providing a safe environment for students.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with student, parents, and internal team.
- Creative to design engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles and flexible to adjust teaching methods.
