Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Design, Interior Design, Fashion, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Visual Merchandiser, preferably in retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or eyewear.
- Experience handling VMD and POSM execution across multiple stores.
- Strong understanding of visual merchandising, product display, store layout, and customer flow.
- Experience managing POSM such as hanging banners, wobblers, POP displays, easels, price holders, and other in-store materials.
- Strong visual sense with a creative and innovative mindset.
- Able to translate visual concepts into practical and effective in-store execution.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, or similar graphic design tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and vendor coordination skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to create reports, presentations, and VMD guidelines.
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Willing to work WFO and travel regularly to Kacamatamoo stores.
- Have a private vehicle and be comfortable traveling between stores.
Job Description
- Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies aligned with Kacamatamoo’s brand identity, product positioning, and sales objectives.
- Create and execute attractive eyewear and store displays, including product displays, signage, POSM, window displays, floor plans, and promotional areas.
- Ensure frames, lenses, accessories, and promotional materials are displayed attractively and effectively to encourage customer engagement and purchase.
- Manage and maintain VMD points across Kacamatamoo stores to ensure consistent visual standards and brand presentation.
- Develop and execute VMD concepts for new product launches, campaigns, seasonal, and festive promotions.
- Manage POSM materials such as hanging banners, wobblers, POP displays, easels, price holders, and other in-store materials.
- Create VMD guidelines and briefs for store teams and assistant merchandisers to ensure proper execution.
- Conduct regular store visits to monitor VMD implementation, identify issues, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Review store layouts and product displays based on store conditions, customer flow, product focus, and campaign objectives.
- Develop, revise, and present visual merchandising concepts and proposals to internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Marketing, Creative, Product, and Store Operations for campaigns, product launches, and store activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors for POSM production, installation, and quality control.
- Monitor VMD and POSM execution timelines and ensure all materials are delivered and installed properly.
- Prepare VMD reports, store visit reports, and presentation materials with actionable recommendations.
- Keep up with retail, fashion, eyewear, and visual merchandising trends to develop fresh and relevant store concepts.
