About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Villa Manager to oversee the launch and daily operations of three adjacent, brand-new small luxury villas in Legian, Bali. This is a new business and it would be an opportunity for someone with relevant experience in hotel or villas to really make a difference. You will be the ‘face’ of the property, responsible for delivering exceptional, five-star guest experiences, managing a local hospitality team, and ensuring the seamless operation of all three properties. You will enjoy considerable autonomy in your day to day role.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Relations & Experience
• Lead the pre-opening phase and ongoing guest services, setting the standard for luxury hospitality.
• Oversee the entire guest journey—from pre-arrival arrangements and airport transfers to curated local excursions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring all requests are met promptly and with the utmost discretion.
Staff Leadership & Operations
• Recruit, train, and mentor a team of 2 staff cleaners
• Create and manage daily rosters, ensuring seamless coverage across all three adjacent villas.
• Conduct daily briefings to ensure the team is aligned on guest arrivals, special requests, and VIP services.
Property & Asset Management
• Maintain the pristine condition of the brand-new villas, ensuring all fixtures, amenities, and landscaping are meticulously cared for.
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedules and coordinate with external contractors for repairs as needed.
• Manage inventory, including linens, villa supplies, and food & beverage stocks.
Financial & Administrative
• Manage operational budgets, track daily expenses, and process invoices.
• Oversee booking platforms, manage rate strategies, and drive direct bookings in coordination with the property owner.
• Ensure all local permits, licenses, and safety regulations are fully compliant.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 1 years of management experience in luxury villa rentals, hotels, or hospitality in Bali.
• Language: Fluency in English and conversational Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) are essential for supplier and staff management.
• Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of Bali’s culture, lifestyle, and tourism landscape (specifically the Bukit/Kuta Selatan area).
• Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, high cultural awareness
• Appearance: Professional, polished, and welcoming demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality standards.
