# VILLA SUPERVISOR / VILLA MANAGER
**Location:** Seminyak & Canggu, Bali
**Properties:** Exclusive private villas – approximately 13 bedrooms in total
We are looking for an **experienced Villa Supervisor / Villa Manager** to oversee the daily operations of a small portfolio of high-end private villas in Seminyak and Canggu.
The main property is an exclusive villa complex in Seminyak consisting of **3 villas / 8 bedrooms**, together with an additional **5-bedroom villa in Canggu**.
The successful candidate must have previous experience in villa or hospitality operations, good English communication skills, excellent presentation and professional attitude, and a very high level of attention to detail.
## Main Responsibilities
### Villa Operations
- Supervise the daily operation and overall condition of the villas.
- Ensure that each villa is maintained and presented according to high hospitality standards.
- Conduct regular villa inspections and identify any maintenance, cleanliness or presentation issues.
- Ensure all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, swimming pools, gardens and guest areas are properly prepared.
- Follow up immediately on any operational or maintenance issues.
### Staff Management
- Supervise approximately **5–10 villa staff**, including housekeeping, pool staff, gardeners and security.
- **Work closely and effectively with the existing housekeeping teams**, respecting the established team structure while ensuring company standards are consistently maintained.
- Build a positive and professional relationship with existing staff and encourage good communication and teamwork.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules, working days, days off and replacement arrangements.
- Allocate daily duties and ensure responsibilities are clearly understood.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, attitude and quality of work.
- Train, guide and support staff when improvements are required.
- Maintain a professional working environment and address staff issues constructively.
### Guest Experience
- Organize and supervise guest **check-ins and check-outs**.
- Ensure villas are fully prepared before every guest arrival.
- Welcome guests professionally and provide villa information when required.
- Coordinate guest requests with the relevant team.
- Follow up during the stay to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest issues calmly, professionally and efficiently.
### Quality Control
A major part of this position is **attention to detail**.
The Villa Supervisor / Manager must personally check that the villa is properly prepared before guest arrival, including:
- Cleanliness and presentation of bedrooms and bathrooms
- Linen, towels and amenities
- Furniture and decoration positioning
- Lighting, air conditioning, TVs and villa equipment
- Swimming pool and garden presentation
- Kitchen and common areas
- Maintenance defects or damaged items
- Overall atmosphere and presentation of the property
The objective is not simply to make sure that the villa is "clean", but to ensure that it is presented at the standard expected from an **exclusive villa**.
## Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in **villa management, villa supervision, boutique hotel or similar hospitality position**
- Experience managing and coordinating a small operational team
- **Ability to integrate into and lead an existing housekeeping team**
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain the cooperation and respect of existing staff
- Good spoken and written **English**
- Indonesian language required
- Professional appearance and good communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Guest-oriented and service-minded
- Able to manage staff while maintaining a positive but professional working environment
- Able to identify problems and take initiative without waiting for instructions
- Comfortable using WhatsApp and basic digital tools for schedules, reports and communication
- Flexible regarding working hours according to villa occupancy, guest arrivals and operational requirements
## Profile We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is **hands-on, organized and demanding about quality**, but who also knows how to work constructively with an established team.
The successful candidate will be joining villa staff who already know the properties and their daily operations. The Villa Manager must therefore be able to **build trust, communicate clearly, introduce improvements when necessary and obtain results without unnecessarily disrupting the existing team**.
The ideal candidate understands that managing an exclusive villa requires more than coordinating housekeeping and maintenance. The person must be able to walk into a villa and immediately notice what is not right — cleanliness, presentation, maintenance, staff preparation or small details that could affect the guest experience.
The position requires someone who can **take ownership of the properties**, organize the team efficiently and ensure that every guest arrival is properly prepared and professionally handled.
