Role Description
This is a part-time freelance, on-site role based in Batam for a Videographer & Editor. The role involves both on-site filming and post-production for a variety of video content, including music videos, interviews, event highlights, promotional content, and social media videos.
The Video Editor must be comfortable filming music videos and other content on location, primarily in Batam and potentially surrounding areas, as well as handling the editing and post-production process from raw footage through to the final output.
Qualifications
- Experience in video filming and editing
- Able to independently film music videos and other content on-site
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
- Good understanding of video composition, pacing, transitions, sound, and visual storytelling
- Experience with different types of content, such as music videos, interviews, events, and social media content
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is a must
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team
- Willing to travel to filming locations in Batam and surrounding areas when required
- Knowledge of current video and social media trends is a plus
- Portfolio or examples of previous work are highly preferred
