Job description for Video Editor at Verite Project
Responsibilities:
- Edit and shoot engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital platforms.
- Turn raw footage into polished, fast-paced, and engaging content with strong hooks, storytelling, subtitles, sound design, and transitions.
- Collaborate with the creative team to execute content concepts and develop fresh video ideas.
- Adapt videos based on trends, audience behavior, and content performance.
- Create basic visual assets and graphics when needed.
- Stay updated on social media trends, viral formats, and editing techniques.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Video Editor / Content Creator with a strong portfolio.
- Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software.
- Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, hooks, and audience retention.
- Creative eye with strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube content formats.
- Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and respond well to feedback.
- Basic graphic design skills are a plus.
