Job description for Video Editor at Nawasena Creative Studio
We are looking for a creative Video Editor who understands storytelling and knows how to transform talking-head footage into engaging, high-retention content for social media.
We're looking for someone who already has experience editing creator content and understands pacing, hooks, visual storytelling, and audience retention. If you've edited podcasts, educational videos, founder content, or personal branding videos, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Edit talking-head and storytelling videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
Create engaging edits using pacing, B-roll, motion graphics, captions, and visual storytelling.
Turn raw footage into high-retention content that keeps viewers watching.
Follow brand guidelines while bringing creative ideas to improve each video.
Deliver projects with a fast turnaround while maintaining high quality.
Collaborate with our team and implement feedback efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience editing talking-head or storytelling content (portfolio required).
Strong understanding of pacing, hooks, audience retention, and visual storytelling.
Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus).
Able to source relevant B-roll, graphics, and visual assets.
Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and multiple projects each week.
Experience editing content for creators, founders, coaches, podcasts, or educational brands is a big plus.
