Hiring Professional Long-Form Video Editor
Location: Remote (WFH)
About the Role: Brillkun is looking for a skilled and creative Long-Form Video Editor to join our team remotely. You will be responsible for editing engaging, high-retention YouTube videos in an entertainment style, based on scripts, footage, and thumbnail designs provided by our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form desktop-shoot entertainment videos with strong pacing and storytelling flow.
- Incorporate captions, motion graphics, sound design, and visual effects to maximize viewer retention.
- Implement thumbnail designs from provided templates and assets.
- Utilize AI tools to generate supporting visuals and enhance workflow efficiency.
- Manage 4–6 video projects per month independently and consistently meet deadlines.
- Handle revisions professionally and deliver within agreed turnaround times.
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio showcasing long-form video editing work (YouTube entertainment style).
- Proficiency in professional editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, or CapCut PC).
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for content creation (image/video generation, voice, etc.).
- Excellent sense of pacing, retention curve, and visual storytelling.
- Reliable personal computer/editing setup capable of handling heavy projects, with high-speed internet.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a WFH environment.
