Job description for Video Editor Intern at Virus Digital Indonesia
WIZ is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to help produce engaging short-form content across social media platforms. This role is perfect for students or fresh graduates who are passionate about storytelling, content creation, and digital media.
You will work closely with the content and marketing team to transform raw footage into compelling videos that educate, entertain, and drive audience engagement.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form video content for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and visual elements to enhance content quality.
- Organize and manage raw footage, project files, and content assets.
- Collaborate with the content team to execute content ideas and creative concepts.
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and content objectives.
- Stay updated on social media trends, editing styles, and platform best practices.
- Assist with simple content repurposing and optimization across multiple platforms.
- Support revisions and improvements based on feedback and performance insights.
Qualifications
- Final-year student or fresh graduate from any major.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable using Canva for basic design and layout work.
- Basic understanding of content creation and digital products.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
- Good research, organization, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently while remaining open to feedback and revisions.
- Fast learner with strong curiosity toward technology, AI, and digital business.
Work Arrangement
💼 Paid-internship, 3 months duration
📍 Cilandak Barat, South Jakarta (near MRT Fatmawati)
🏢 Hybrid Working: WFO every Wednesday & Friday, WFH on other days
