Job description for Video Content Creator Associate at MANDALAS Batik
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative & Concept
- Research trends and brainstorm ideas for each brand's TikTok and Instagram
- Understand each video's goal and build the right storytelling approach and hook
- Write creative briefs, scripts and storyboards in line with each brand's voice
Planning & Pre-Production
- Own the monthly video calendar around launches, campaigns and key moments
- Prepare shot lists, timelines and shoot schedules
- Coordinate models, HMUA, locations and props; prepare products and styling needs
Production & Shooting
- Operate camera, lighting and audio on set – on-model, flatlay and product shoots
- Capture social-first content, behind-the-scenes and campaign footage
- Direct talent and keep shoots on schedule, solving issues on the spot
Post-Production
- Edit, color-grade and mix audio – dialogue, music and sound effects
- Deliver platform-native cuts for TikTok, Reels, Stories and marketplace listings
- Ensure every final output is consistent with the MANDALAS brand identity
Graphics, Assets & Collaboration
- Basic graphic and photo editing – video covers, thumbnails, text overlays and simple retouching
- Maintain an organized footage library, templates and production tracker
- Work closely with Marketing, Product and Social teams; join regular content reviews
- Repurpose content for ads, marketplace pages and live selling
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience producing short-form video (brand, agency or creator) – portfolio required
- Experience shooting and editing fashion products, on-model and flatlay
- Background in fashion, lifestyle or beauty preferred
- Strong visual sense and aesthetic eye for styling and detail
- Up to date with TikTok and Instagram trends and formats
- Experience writing briefs and scripts
- Proficient in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci and CapCut
- Basic graphic and photo editing skills – Photoshop, Illustrator or similar
- Able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Proactive, communicative and open to feedback and revisions
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
Nice to have
- Motion graphics / After Effects skills
- Comfortable being on camera
- Interest in batik, wastra and Indonesian heritage
