Job description for Trucking Coordinator - Surabaya Based at PT. Intitrans Multi Sarana
Trucking Coordinator is responsible for planning and coordinating truck scheduling to ensure customer shipments are delivered on time. This role works closely with drivers, trucking vendors, and warehouse teams to monitor fleet movement, resolve field issues, and maintain accurate shipment documentation.
Job Description:
- Plan and coordinate truck scheduling for customer shipments
- Coordinate with drivers, trucking vendors, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Monitor fleet/truck movement in real-time and follow up on field issues (traffic, breakdowns, etc.)
- Manage shipment documentation (delivery orders, DO, POD) and ensure completeness
- Coordinate with customer service regarding shipment status updates
- Manage and evaluate the performance of trucking vendors/drivers
- Assist in trucking cost calculation and route efficiency planning
General Qualifications:
- Minimum High School/Vocational Diploma (SMA/SMK) or D3, preferably in Logistics/Transportation
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a trucking/fleet/transport coordinator, preferably in freight forwarding
- Understanding of delivery routes and freight transportation regulations
- Able to work under pressure and resolve field issues quickly
- Familiar with fleet tracking/GPS applications
- Good communication skills for coordinating with drivers and vendors
