Trend & Market Analyst

Our client, a growing fashion brand, is seeking a Trend & Market Analyst to research and forecast upcoming fashion trends, ensuring their collections stay ahead of the curve while remaining commercially viable.

Key Responsibilities

1. Trend Research & Forecasting

2. Analyze global fashion trends, consumer behavior, and cultural influences.

3. Identify key trends in fabrics, colors, and silhouettes for the target audience.

Design Strategy & Concept Development

1. Collaborate with designers to align collections with upcoming trends.

2. Develop seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and concept presentations.

Market & Competitor Analysis

1. Track competitor collections and pricing strategies.

2. Identify market gaps and propose unique product ideas.

Collaboration & Implementation

1. Communicate trend insights to design, marketing, and production teams.

2. Assist in sourcing fabrics and materials.

3. Support marketing with branding and visual aesthetics.

4. Provide guidance on styling, photoshoots, and collection launches.

Qualification/Skills Needed:

1. 3+ years of experience in fashion forecasting, design, or related fields.

2. Strong intuition for emerging trends and consumer preferences.

3. Excellent research and analytical skills.

4. Creative mindset with a strong eye for colors, prints, and silhouettes.

5. Basic design software proficiency (Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva).

6. Strong presentation and communication skills.

7. Understanding of fabric sourcing, garment construction, and production processes.
