Job description for Treasury & Finance Operations Specialist at PT. ALATOO GENERAL TRADING
We are looking for a highly organized and analytical Treasury & Finance Operations Specialist to support our international financial operations.
This role combines payment operations with treasury activities. In addition to executing domestic and international payments, the successful candidate will communicate directly with banking partners, monitor foreign exchange markets, negotiate FX rates with bank treasury dealers, and help optimize the company’s currency conversion costs.
The position requires strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and confidence when working with banks in a dynamic international environment.
Payment Operations
- Process domestic and international payments.
- Verify payment details and supporting documents.
- Monitor payment status and resolve issues.
- Follow up on delayed or rejected payments.
- Maintain payment records and reconcile bank balances.
- Prepare payment reports.
- Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams.
- Ensure compliance with payment procedures.
Treasury & Foreign Exchange Operations
- Monitor foreign exchange market movements.
- Obtain and compare FX quotes from banks.
- Negotiate exchange rates with banking partners.
- Execute currency conversions at competitive rates.
- Maintain records of FX transactions and negotiated rates.
- Build and maintain relationships with banking partners.
- Support improvements to treasury and FX processes.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- 2+ years in Finance Operations, Treasury Operations, Banking Operations or Payment Operations.
- Experience working with international payments.
- Experience communicating directly with banks.
Technical Skills
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience using online banking systems.
- Ability to analyze financial information.
- Good understanding of payment processes.
- Understanding of foreign exchange transactions is highly desirable.
