About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Travel Consultant to join our Corporate Travel team.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing domestic and international travel reservations and ticketing, providing travel-related information and solutions, and supporting corporate travelers throughout their travel arrangements.
You will work closely with corporate clients, travelers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure every travel arrangement is handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company travel policies and service standards.
This position is ideal for someone who has strong knowledge of the travel industry, GDS systems, corporate travel processes, and enjoys providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
1. Handle GDS and Non-GDS reservations and ticketing for domestic and international travel.
2. Process flight reservations, ticket issuance, rebooking, cancellation, refund, and other ticketing-related requirements.
3. Provide clients and travelers with accurate and relevant information regarding: Air tickets and flight arrangements, Accommodation, Travel documents and visa requirements, Travel insurance, Transportation and car rental, Other travel-related services.
4. Assist travelers in making arrangements that comply with their company's travel policy, health & safety requirements, and reporting procedures.
5. Understand traveler requirements and recommend suitable travel options based on itinerary, budget, policy, and preferences.
6. Handle traveler inquiries, complaints, disruptions, and other travel-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
7. Diagnose traveler problems and coordinate with supervisors or relevant internal teams to provide appropriate solutions.
8. Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transportation providers, and other travel suppliers when required.
9. Monitor changes, cancellations, delays, schedule changes, and other travel disruptions and communicate relevant information to travelers.
10. Ensure all bookings, ticketing transactions, and travel information are accurately recorded in the relevant systems.
11. Maintain accurate documentation and records of reservations, ticketing, and traveler requests.
12. Provide timely updates and follow-ups to clients and travelers throughout the travel arrangement process.
13. Deliver a high level of customer service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
14. Stay updated on airline policies, fare rules, travel regulations, destinations, and other relevant travel industry developments.
15. Perform other travel consulting and reservation-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
What We’re Looking For
1. Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree, preferably in Tourism, Travel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Reservations & Ticketing.
3. Strong knowledge and practical experience in the travel industry, preferably in Corporate Travel.
4. Experience handling domestic and international reservations and ticketing.
5. Possess a GDS certificate/basic certification in reservation and ticketing.
6. Experience with Amadeus & Sabre is highly preferred.
7. Knowledge or experience with Online Booking Tools (OBT) such as Opsigo, Opsicorp, Cytric, Concur, or similar platforms is an advantage.
8. Good understanding of airline fares, ticketing rules, rebooking, cancellation, refund, and related processes.
9. Good knowledge of travel documents, travel requirements, and travel-related services.
10. Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English, both written and verbal.
11. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other relevant digital tools.
12. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple travel requests simultaneously.
