Job description for Translator(Indonesian-English) at Willfar Information
Responsibilities:
1. Translate written materials (e.g., reports, contracts, marketing materials) from Indonesian to English and vice versa, with an emphasis on maintaining the original intent and tone.
2. Provide oral interpretation services during meetings, conferences, and business negotiations involving Indonesian, English, and ideally Chinese speakers.
3. Assist in cultural adaptation of content to ensure it resonates well with the target audience.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and understanding of translated materials.
5. Continuously improve language skills and stay updated with industry-specific terminology.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Translation, Linguistics, Foreign Languages, or a related field.
2. Fluent in Indonesian, English, and preferably proficient in Chinese (both written and spoken).
3. Proven translation experience, particularly in a business or corporate setting, is preferred.
4. Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to adapt language use accordingly.
5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in translation work.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
