We are seeking a talented Translator to join our team at PT CAHAYA LAMBANG LOGISTIK' in Papua Barat. As a Translator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating seamless communication and information exchange across our organisation. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute your language expertise and support our administrative and office support operations.
What you'll be doing
- Translate a variety of documents, including correspondence, reports, and other materials, between English and Indonesian languages
- Ensure accurate, high-quality translations that preserve the original meaning and tone
- Proofread and edit translated documents to maintain consistency and clarity
- Collaborate with team members to understand context and requirements for each translation project
- Provide language support and interpretation services as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Fluency in both Mandarin and Indonesian, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven experience as a professional translator, with a strong track record of delivering accurate and timely translations
- Excellent command of grammar, syntax, and vocabulary in both languages
- Ability to interpret context and nuance to produce translations that capture the intended meaning
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills to ensure high-quality output
- Proficiency in using translation software and other relevant tools
- Adaptability and the ability to work under tight deadlines
