Mandarin Translator
Job Summary
We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Mandarin Translator to facilitate effective communication between Mandarin-speaking and English/Indonesian-speaking employees, management, and business partners. The Translator will be responsible for providing accurate interpretation and translation for meetings, documents, correspondence, and daily business activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate Mandarin–English/Indonesian translation, both written and verbal.
Interpret during meetings, discussions, presentations, and business negotiations.
Translate company documents, reports, emails, policies, contracts, and other business-related materials.
Facilitate communication between Mandarin-speaking management and local employees.
Ensure translated information is clear, accurate, and appropriate for the business context.
Maintain confidentiality of company information and sensitive documents.
Assist management and employees in resolving language and communication barriers.
Support cross-cultural communication and help ensure smooth collaboration between local and Mandarin-speaking teams.
Coordinate with relevant departments to clarify terminology and ensure translation accuracy.
Perform other translation and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mandarin, Chinese Studies, Linguistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Fluent in Mandarin and Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin.
HSK certification or equivalent qualification is preferred.
Previous experience as a Mandarin Translator, Interpreter, or in a similar role is preferred.
Good understanding of business terminology and professional communication.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work independently and effectively in a multicultural environment.
