Job description for Trainer at Viva Apotek
Job Descriptions:
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs for pharmacy staff, including pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, daily worker, and store supervisors across Viva Apotek outlets.
- Conduct onboarding and induction training for new employees, covering company culture, SOPs, product knowledge, and customer service standards.
- Develop training materials, modules, and assessment tools (product knowledge, selling skills, service excellence, pharmacy operations, POS system usage, etc.).
- Deliver in-class, on-the-job, and e-learning training sessions across branches, ensuring consistent training quality nationwide.
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in coordination with Store Operations, HR, and Pharmacy teams to identify skill gaps.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through pre/post-tests, field observation, and performance follow-up; report results to management.
- Coordinate with the Regulatory/Pharmacy team to ensure training content complies with pharmaceutical regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support product knowledge training in collaboration with principals/suppliers (OTC, health supplements, medical devices, beauty products, etc.).
- Maintain training documentation, attendance records, and training calendars.
- Monitor and coach store staff in the field to reinforce training implementation and service standards.
- Assist in developing career development and certification programs for pharmacy staff (e.g., continuing pharmacist education/SKP support).
- Stay updated on retail pharmacy trends, competitor practices, and regulatory changes relevant to training content.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Pharmacy (Apoteker/Farmasi), Psychology, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Trainer, preferably in retail, pharmacy, FMCG, or healthcare/retail industries.
- Having a Pharmacist license (STRA/SIPA) or pharmacy background is a strong advantage, especially for delivering product knowledge and regulatory training.
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate diverse audiences.
- Experience in developing training modules, SOPs, and assessment tools.
- Familiar with adult learning principles and various training methods (classroom, on-the-job, e-learning).
- Good analytical skills for conducting training needs analysis and evaluating training impact.
- Willing to travel frequently to branches/outlets across regions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and basic e-learning/LMS tools.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple training schedules simultaneously.
- Passionate about people development, coaching, and retail/pharmacy customer service excellence.
