Job description for Trainer Maintenance Heavy Equipment at DingChang Group
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Trainer Maintenance Heavy Equipment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading technical training programs, developing the capabilities of field mechanics, and ensuring that all heavy equipment maintenance and repair operations (DT, Excavators, and other heavy machinery) adhere to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, update, and develop technical training modules, curriculum, and skill assessment materials for Dump Trucks (DT), Excavators, and other Heavy Equipment (A2B).
2. Conduct and lead training sessions both in the classroom (theoretical) and in the workshop/field (hands-on practical).
3. Perform periodic technical evaluations for mechanics, identify skill gaps, and provide recommendations for continuous skill improvement.
4. Serve as a subject matter expert to assist in major breakdown analysis and train mechanics in efficient troubleshooting techniques.
5. Manage training history administration, track mechanic skill matrix, and carry out operational supervisory duties in accordance with POP standards.
Mandatory Qualifications:
1. Diploma/Bachelor's Degree (D3/S1) in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or relevant fields
2. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic (proficient with Dump Trucks, Excavators, Dozers, Graders, or other A2B units).
3. Must possess an active POP (Pengawas Operasional Pratama) certification from BNSP. TOT Level 3 (Trainer of Trainer) certification from BNSP is a strong plus
4. Proficient in English (capable of reading technical service manuals, parts books, and communicating technical concepts).
5. Deep knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, transmission, and engine systems across major brands (Sany, Shacman, Shantui, Komatsu, etc.).
6. Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) for training material creation and reporting.
8. Willingness to travel to operational job sites
