Job description for Trainee Fashion Designer at PT. Cottonink Duo Kreasiondo
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Maximum of 2 years of work experience in fashion design.
• Strong knowledge of product development and pattern making.
• Proficient in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Freehand.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good personality with a fashionable and professional appearance.
• Creative, fast learner, and highly motivated with excellent service attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Have a deep understanding of fabric and its characteristics
• Have a good time management
• Willing to commit to this program for a minimum of 6 months
Job Responsibility:
1. Creating/visualizing an idea and producing a design
2. Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as General trends relating to fabrics, colors and Shapes;
3. Planning and developing ranges;
4. Working with others in Design Teams, such as buyers and Productions, to develop products to meet a brief;
5. Create design, choosing appropriate fabrics and follow up samples;
6. Developing pattern that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervising the creation of these, including fitting, deadline and adaptations;
7. Create technical spec design (Technical Sheet);
8. Working with others in the Design Team to develop products.
9. Collaborating with the photoshoot team to visualize the collection so the message is delivered correctly
10. Choosing fabrics and trimmings for collection development, and sometimes dealing with suppliers
