Job description for Trade & Event Marketing Intern at Little Joy Indonesia
Job Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and creative Trade & Event Marketing Intern to develop and execute trade marketing strategies that drive sales growth and strengthen brand presence in offline and retail channels. This role will work closely with sales, marketing, and key account teams to ensure effective in-store execution and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement trade marketing plans and programs to support brand and sales objectives.
- Design and execute in-store promotions, merchandising strategies, and point-of-sale (POS) materials.
- Work with sales and key account teams to optimize product visibility and availability in retail channels.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, shopper behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and improve strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and prepare post-activity reports.
- Manage trade marketing budgets and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners for event execution and promotional activities.
- Support sales teams with trade materials, promotional tools, and product training as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, Background in marketing event/event organizer/wedding organizer are welcome
- Fresh Graduates are welcome.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and market insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Creative, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willing to travel and visit key retail partners when needed.
