Job description for TEXTILE PATTERN & GRAPHIC DESIGNER at Lazy Pajamas
Scope of Work & Responsibilities:
- Create original textile prints, motifs, and graphic assets based on creative briefs and brand direction.
- Research current fashion pattern, textile, and graphic design trends to generate fresh and innovative ideas.
- Prepare production ready artwork, including color separations and print files for textile manufacturing.
- Design graphic materials for garment trims and accessories.
- Ensure all designs maintain strong visual balance, color harmony, and attention to detail.
- Coordinate with external textile vendors to ensure design deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in textile design, pattern design, and graphic design preferred (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply with an outstanding portfolio)
- Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication Design, Textile Design, or related fields preferred
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of seamless repeat systems, textile colorways, and print production techniques
- Skilled in graphic layout, typography, composition, and color application
- Creative thinker with strong aesthetic sensitivity and attention to detail
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and strong sense of responsibility
- Passionate about fashion, textiles, visual arts, and creative industry trends
