Job description for Textile Designer at PT Asa Mode Internasional (Chanté)
Responsibilities:
- Develop new textile products by creating designs and patterns based on current fashion trends.
- Determine methods for producing and finishing materials such as dyes, yarns, fabrics, or interlinings
- Analyze competitors’ products and design new products that improve upon previous designs
- Responsible for the design and development of apparel products
- Create and visualize ideas, producing designs by hand, computers and production samples
- Stay updated on fashion trends related to fabrics, colors, and styles
- Supervise and ensure all product samples are in accordance with the desired design.
- Prepared ready products for photoshoots
- Coordinate with the creative team for photoshoots
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience as Textile Designer
- Minimum education D3/S1 major in Textile Design or Fashion Design.
- Possess skills in design, textile design, fashion styling, and proficiency in software such as CorelDRAW, Photoshop, Illustrator, and similar tools
- Understanding the garment industry (Textile Designer)
- Follow fashion trends
- Knowledge of different fabric types, printing techniques, sewing, screen printing, and pattern-making.
- Able to implement ideas/concepts of design into a good product.
- Target-oriented and have good time management.
