Job description for Textile Designer Leader at Dafanya Scarf
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the textile design team in developing prints and design collections
- Define design direction based on briefs from internal teams (marketing, product, etc.)
- Ensure consistency with Dafanya’s unique aesthetic and brand identity across all designs
- Oversee and maintain the quality of all design outputs to meet brand standards
- Stay up to date with industry trends (design, fabric, colors, and market) and guide the team accordingly
- Review, revise, and approve designs before moving to the production stage
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with business needs and target market
- Manage team timelines to ensure all projects are delivered on schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in textile design (leadership experience is a plus)
- Strong portfolio showcasing textile prints and design work
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of motif creation and design collection development
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly self-motivated
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
- Willing to work from office (WFO) in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta
- Available to join ASAP
