Overview
A medior-level Test Engineer to write and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. As a Test Engineer, will be designing and implementing tests, debug and take corrective actions. Play a vital role in the company's product development process. Responsible for testing the product before launches to ensure that the product is reliable and free from errors.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases based on product requirements and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using relevant scripting languages and testing frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track bugs and other product issues using issuetracking tools.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to understand product requirements, feature scope, and potential edge cases.
- Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before production releases.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and overall product quality.
- Support performance, security, and exploratory testing when required.
Qualifications
Must-Have Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience testing mobile applications, particularly Android and/or iOS.
- Experience with test automation using one or more programming or scripting languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
- Good understanding of manual and automated testing processes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in the Fintech industry.
- Experience with TypeScript is preferred.
- Experience with JavaScript, Java, Python, or other relevant languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
- Experience supporting performance, security, or exploratory testing activities.
