Job description for Technical Workshop Supervisor (Automotive / EV) at PT Green City Traffic
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Directly manage a team of 50+ technicians, mechanics, and operators to ensure smooth daily workshop operations, high productivity, and optimal shift output.
2. Oversee hands-on mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, unit repairs, and schedule preventive/corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
3. Enforce strict shop-floor HSE safety protocols, monitor repair quality standards, and immediately resolve technical/defect issues.
4. Implement 5S/Lean practices within the workshop area, manage tool/spare part allocations, and submit daily technical shift summary reports to management.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
3. Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor, Workshop Head (Kepala Bengkel), Technical Maintenance Lead, or Fleet/Technical Operation Supervisor.
4. Mandatory hands-on background in automotive workshops, mechanical machinery, or EV/electrical vehicle maintenance.
5. Strong track record in directly managing large technical teams (50+ headcount) of mechanics, technicians, or operators.
6. Technical mastery in mechanical systems, electromechanical troubleshooting, and preventive/predictive maintenance.
7. Good command of English (spoken & written) for professional reporting and documentation.
8. Strong leadership, crisis management, and floor-level problem-solving skills under high-pressure environments.
9. Willing to work Monday–Saturday (09:00–18:10).
