Job description for Technical Sales Engineer at Clearpack Group (ALLPack Indonesia)
About the role
This role bridges technical expertise with commercial acumen in the automation solutions industry. You will assess client technical needs, analyse operational challenges, and recommend appropriate product solutions for filling and packing automation across food and beverage, home and personal care, lubricant, edible oil, pharmaceutical, chemical, and related manufacturing sectors.
Key responsibilities :
- Consult with clients to assess technical requirements, analyse operational problems, and recommend suitable product solutions
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and simulations to prospective customers
- Develop technical documentation, tender proposals, RFO/RFP responses, and competitive quotations in collaboration with relevant teams
- Provide pre-sales technical guidance and post-sales support including installation assistance, troubleshooting, and training
- Act as a liaison between sales teams and technical/factory teams to ensure products meet market demands
About you :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil), Computer Science, or related field
- Deep understanding of product specifications, related software and hardware, data analysis, and ability to read blueprints, CAD, or technical documentation
- Strong ability to explain complex technical concepts in business language accessible to non-technical stakeholders
- Understanding of sales cycles, contract negotiation, and target achievement strategies
- Fresh graduate or minimum 2 years of experience in engineering or previous sales role (depending on entry-level or senior position)
