Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end development of web applications using Laravel and PHP.
- Architect scalable and secure backend systems.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define system requirements and deliverables.
- Maintain and optimize existing systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest Laravel and PHP trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PHP development, with a minimum of 3 years in Laravel.
- 5+ years of experience in leadership or leading a team
- Strong knowledge of OOP, MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Docker, Git, and modern deployment practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience in leading Agile/Scrum teams.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
- Experience with testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest.
- Skilled in AI-assisted coding, with the ability to validate and take ownership of AI-generated code.
