Job description for Technical Engineer at PT Teknologi Strategis Nusantara

Technical/Operation Engineer (Middle)

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle L2 escalations for cloud/virtualization/infrastructure incidents and service requests.

· Perform troubleshooting across compute, storage, network, and OS/services (Linux-focused).

· Operate and support virtualization/private cloud environments (VM provisioning, cluster health checks, migrations, performance tuning).

· Support hybrid/public cloud operations (compute, storage, VPN/connectivity, basic security policies).

· Maintain service availability by supporting HA features, monitoring, and preventive maintenance.

· Support backup/restore activities and assist in DR readiness (RPO/RTO awareness, DR drills support).

· Execute change activities (patching, upgrades, configuration) following standard procedures and runbooks.

· Produce concise documentation (runbooks/KB), incident RCA, and operational reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience in operations/support roles (data center, cloud, virtualization, managed services, or SI).

· Strong Linux fundamentals (services, logs, networking tools, troubleshooting).

· Basic-to-intermediate understanding of virtualization concepts (cluster, HA, VM lifecycle, snapshots/backup).

· Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, subnetting, VLAN, routing basics, NAT/VPN concepts).

· Understanding of HA and DR fundamentals (failover concepts, RPO/RTO, restore testing).

· Familiar with ticketing workflow, SLA-driven operations, and structured documentation.

· Good communication skills and ability to work under incident pressure.
