About Cut The Cue
Cut The Cue is a fashion brand focused on creating stylish, distinctive, and relevant pieces for today’s market. We are looking for an experienced designer who understands both the creative and commercial sides of fashion and can take a product from initial concept through development and production.
Key Responsibilities
Develop seasonal collections and new product concepts aligned with Cut The Cue’s brand identity.
Conduct fashion, color, fabric, silhouette, and market trend research.
Create moodboards, sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications.
Select fabrics, trims, colors, and other materials for each collection.
Prepare clear tech packs and production specifications.
Work closely with pattern makers, sample makers, suppliers, and production teams.
Review fittings and samples and provide detailed revisions before production.
Ensure proper fit, construction, finishing, quality, and consistency across products.
Develop commercially relevant designs while maintaining the brand’s creative direction.
Monitor product development timelines from design through final production.
Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams for campaigns, shoots, styling, and product launches.
Continuously monitor fashion trends, competitors, customer preferences, and market opportunities.
Requirements
Proven professional experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably within a fashion brand or apparel company.
Strong portfolio demonstrating fashion design and product development experience.
Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, patterns, fitting, and production processes.
Experienced in creating sketches, technical drawings, and tech packs.
Proficient in relevant design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
Strong fashion sense with an understanding of current and upcoming trends.
Able to balance creativity with commercial considerations.
Detail-oriented with strong quality standards.
Able to communicate effectively with suppliers, pattern makers, and production teams.
Able to manage multiple designs and deadlines simultaneously.
Fast, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a dynamic fashion environment.
Willing to work full-time from our South Jakarta office, Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 WIB.
We’re Looking for Someone Who has a strong point of view in fashion but understands that a successful collection must also sell. You should be comfortable taking ownership of the entire design process, from trend research and initial concepts to sampling, fitting, revisions, and production-ready designs.
