Teacher/Caregiver

PT LIKE GLOBAL INDONESIA (PMA) is a subsidiary of LIKE, Inc., one of Japan's leading childcare providers, operating more than 400 nursery schools and childcare facilities across the country.

We are seeking a caregiver/teacher who will receive training to become a Hoikushi, a Japanese-style childcare professional. A Hoikushi provides daily care for children while supporting their early learning and social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through structured educational and play-based activities. Unlike a babysitter, a Hoikushi follows a professional childcare curriculum and plays a vital role in fostering each child's overall well-being, growth, and development. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in bringing Japanese-quality early childhood education to Indonesia while working closely with an established leader in the childcare industry.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive one week training at our facility in Japan and be part of a growing organization with cross-border career opportunities in both Indonesia and Japan.

Qualifications:

・Bachelor’s degree in any field

・Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills

・Strong administrative, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

・Provide attentive and nurturing childcare in a safe and supportive environment

・Plan and implement age-appropriate childcare and educational activities

・Monitor children’s daily activities, behavior, and well-being

・Prepare and maintain daily reports and childcare records

・Assist with meals, hygiene, nap time, and classroom routines
