Job description for Tax Staff at Golden English Course
Golden English is looking for a Tax Staff to join our team and support the company’s tax compliance, reporting, and administration. This role will work closely with the Finance & Accounting team to ensure tax processes are accurate, timely, and properly documented.
Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day tax administration and compliance.
- Prepare, calculate, and process company tax obligations accurately and on time.
- Handle tax-related matters including PPh 21, PPh 23, PPh 4(2), PPN, and other applicable taxes.
- Process and maintain tax data through Coretax and other relevant tax systems.
- Prepare and check e-Bupot, tax invoices, payment documents, and tax reports.
- Reconcile tax data with Finance/Accounting records and identify discrepancies.
- Monitor tax payment and reporting deadlines to ensure timely compliance.
- Maintain complete and organized tax documentation and supporting records.
- Assist in preparing tax documents and data for tax audits, tax reviews, or other tax-related requirements.
- Monitor changes in applicable tax regulations and communicate relevant updates to the team.
- Coordinate with Finance/Accounting and other departments regarding tax-related transactions and documentation.
- Identify potential tax issues and support the implementation of appropriate solutions.
- Perform other tax-related duties as required by the company.
Requirements
- Minimum D3/S1 in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Tax.
- Good understanding of Indonesian taxation and tax compliance.
- Hands-on experience with PPh and PPN.
- Familiar with Coretax and other tax administration systems.
- Strong understanding of tax documentation and reporting processes.
- Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with Finance/Accounting and other teams.
- Brevet A & B certification is preferred.
