Job description for Tax Specialist at Ini-Consulting

INI Consulting is seeking highly capable and professional candidates to join our Accounting and Tax Service Team. The successful candidates will be involved in providing comprehensive accounting and tax services to clients, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, monthly and annual tax compliance, audit support, tax review, and tax consulting services.

This position is suitable for professionals who are able to understand clients’ accounting and tax issues, prepare reliable financial and tax information, support external audit processes, and assist in identifying practical solutions for tax compliance and advisory matters.

Tax Specialist

Main Responsibilities

 Prepare monthly tax reports, including VAT and withholding taxes

 Prepare annual Corporate Income Tax Returns

 Review tax data and supporting documents

 Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely reporting

 Communicate with clients regarding tax matters and required documents

 Assist with tax clarification, tax review, or tax audit matters when necessary

 Support tax and accounting due diligence for client projects, including M&A, liquidation, tax review, and corporate restructuring matters

 Develop practical work plans, document request lists, review procedures, and reporting formats for special tax and accounting projects

 Coordinate with clients and internal team members to manage project timelines, required documents, key findings, and follow-up actions

 Assist in identifying potential tax risks, compliance issues, and documentation gaps, and summarize key observations for management review

Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in taxation, Accounting, Finance, or related field

 Experience in Indonesian tax compliance

 Good understanding of VAT, withholding tax, and Corporate Income Tax

 Familiar with Indonesian tax reporting systems

 Brevet A/B certification is preferred

 Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

 Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines

General Qualifications

 Honest, responsible, and professional attitude

 Strong attention to detail

 Good teamwork and communication skills

 Able to work with multiple clients and meet deadlines

 Experience handling Korean company clients is an advantage but not mandatory
