Job description for Tax Manager at Kosong Satu Group
Job Overview:
As the Tax Manager (Group) at Kosong Satu Group, you will play a key role in managing and ensuring timely and accurate tax compliance across all internal entities and brands under the group. You will also lead tax planning initiatives and support external client-facing tax services. This role requires a strong understanding of Indonesian tax laws, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic tax advice to internal stakeholders. Reporting directly to the Group Accounting Manager and functionally to the CFO, you’ll be a central figure in driving compliance and optimizing tax outcomes for the group.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Tax Reporting
Oversee the preparation, submission, and payment of all tax obligations including VAT, withholding, and corporate taxes for group entities; ensure annual tax returns are filed accurately and on time.
2. Tax Records Management
Maintain well-organized, accurate tax documentation to support audits and ensure compliance across all entities.
3. Group Tax Planning
Lead strategic tax planning and “tax landing” procedures for group entities to optimize liabilities and support business objectives.
4. Compliance & Monitoring
Stay updated with Indonesian tax law changes and ensure full compliance for both internal operations and client-facing tax services.
5. Internal Tax Advisory
Provide day-to-day tax advisory support to brand managers and finance teams; coordinate with internal and external tax professionals.
Requirement:
1. Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, with strong performance in
tax-related subjects.
• Preference to Masters’ degree graduates
• Tax Brevet A/B qualified
• English language C2 Proficient (EFSET)
2. Experience
• Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in tax reporting and compliance,
preferably within a tax consulting firm.
• Track record in leading a team of tax officers
3. Knowledge & Skills
• In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using tax and accounting software.
• Thorough understanding of Indonesian tax regulations, including VAT, withholding tax,
corporate income tax, and other relevant tax laws.
• Ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws to real-world business scenarios.
• Proactive approach to identifying tax-effective opportunities, to optimize tax scenarios,
and in identifying and mitigating tax risks.
