Job description for Tax Consultant at vOffice
- Manage end-to-end client payroll services—including the calculation of salaries, holiday allowances (THR), bonuses, and Article 21 Income Tax (PPh 21)—while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Handle client tax compliance, covering the calculation, reporting, and administration of taxes (Income Tax, VAT, and others), including providing assistance and coordinating with the Tax Office (KPP) as required.
- Manage client accounting services, including journal entries, reconciliations, and the timely preparation and closing of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Provide tax consultancy to local and foreign clients (PMA), including explaining Indonesian tax regulations, withholding tax (PPh 26), tax treaties, and international VAT, while maintaining professional communication in English.
- Support the company's business development by providing basic tax training to the sales team to enhance product knowledge and the quality of client communication.
