Job description for Tax Associate at Konsulin ID
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end tax compliance services for a portfolio of clients, including accurate and timely preparation, review, and filing of tax returns (Corporate Income Tax, PPh 21/23/26, VAT, etc.) using Coretax and other relevant systems
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients, delivering practical recommendations to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance with prevailing regulations
- Monitor and interpret updates to tax laws and regulations, translating changes into actionable guidance and insights for clients
- Represent and assist clients during tax audits, inquiries, and correspondence with tax authorities, including preparing supporting documentation for disputes, objections, or appeals
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their business needs, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and upholding integrity and confidentiality in all engagements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field
- 1-3 years of solid experience in corporate taxation or a tax consulting firm
- Deep understanding of end-to-end financial workflows, with a strong expertise in tax compliance, planning, and regulations
- Proficient in tax application (Coretax) and advanced accounting software
- Holders of Brevet A & B certifications are highly preferred
