Job description for System Administrator at PT Kairos Utama Indonesia
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform daily operations, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server systems and virtualization infrastructure.
- Manage server startup/shutdown, system services, resource allocation, network configurations, and supporting applications.
- Operate and monitor storage systems, including access permissions, storage allocation, and directory management.
- Perform routine monitoring of server, virtualization, and storage systems according to the established schedule.
- Conduct initial troubleshooting and corrective actions for system incidents (first-level support).
- Support backup and restore activities to maintain data availability and recovery readiness.
- Support preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Install, configure, and reconfigure server hardware, storage devices, and related infrastructure when required.
- Monitor system conditions and report critical and non-critical incidents to the relevant stakeholders.
- Escalate incidents and potential system issues to the designated technical support team in accordance with established procedures.
- Support Data Center access control, security compliance, and operational documentation.

Role Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience in System Administration, Server Administration, IT Infrastructure, or Data Center Operations.
- Understanding of server operating systems, virtualization environments, and storage infrastructure.
- Familiarity with system monitoring, incident handling, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Understanding of backup and restore concepts, access management, and basic network configuration.
- Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain operational documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to work onsite at the Data Center and DRC and follow operational procedures as required.
