Job description for Surf Guide at Bali Staff Solutions

A surf camp in Cemagi is looking for an experienced and friendly Surf Guide (Full time)

Responsibilities

Provide surf lessons and clear instructions to clients based on their skill level
Teach clients for approximately 1–2 hours per session
Drive clients to the beach and assist with transportation when required
Check and assess wave conditions before and during surf sessions
Guide clients in the water and provide practical coaching to improve their surfing skills
Review surf videos and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement
Ensure clients follow appropriate safety procedures during surf sessions
Maintain good communication with clients before, during, and after each session

Requirements

Good English communication skills
Previous experience as a surf guide or surf instructor
Strong surfing skills and confident swimming ability
Experience teaching or coaching surfing is preferred
Entry-level candidates with strong surfing and swimming skills are also welcome
Able to drive a car and hold a valid driving licence
Local to Bali and familiar with local surf spots and beach conditions
Flexible and comfortable working according to surf conditions and client schedules
Friendly, patient, and able to communicate well with clients
