Supply Chain Officer – Retail Lifestyle & Optic
Description:
The position is responsible for managing inventory planning, stock control, purchasing coordination, logistics operations, and supply chain activities to ensure smooth retail operations in the optic business. This role supports product availability, cost efficiency, and timely distribution of optical products including frames, lenses, contact lenses, and accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
- Monitor daily inventory movement and stock levels.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reports.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliation.
- Ensure optimal stock availability across stores and warehouse.
2. Demand Forecasting & Planning
- Analyze sales trends and forecast inventory requirements.
- Plan replenishment for fast-moving and seasonal products.
- Prevent overstock and stock shortages.
- Prepare monthly inventory forecast reports.
3. Purchasing & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate purchase orders with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and product availability.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers.
- Support price and lead-time negotiations.
4. Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Manage stock transfers between branches or warehouses.
- Ensure timely and accurate product delivery.
- Monitor warehouse organization and storage standards.
5. Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare inventory and supply chain performance reports.
- Analyze stock turnover and inventory efficiency.
- Monitor KPI performance and recommend improvements.
- Support operational planning and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Refraksi
- Minimum 1–2 years experience in inventory, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in retail or optical industry is an advantage.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and inventory system skills.
- Good analytical and organizational abilities.
