🎯 Key Responsibilities
Stock Management
- Oversee inventory control for TransTRACK maritime product spare parts, consumables, and operational supplies.
- Implement tracking systems (ERP/IoT-based) to ensure real-time visibility of stock levels.
- Conduct periodic audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical and system records.
Supply Chain Handling
- Plan and coordinate procurement, warehousing, and distribution of maritime equipment and consumables.
- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce lead times and costs while ensuring compliance with international maritime standards (IMO, SOLAS, ISM).
- Collaborate with logistics partners for efficient cargo handling, customs clearance, and last-mile delivery to vessels.
Vendor Relations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with global and local maritime suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Benchmark vendors against KPIs (delivery time, quality compliance, after-sales support).
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
✅ Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, Industrial Engineering or Logistic Engineering.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or stock management (preferably in maritime or industrial sectors).
Strong knowledge of maritime compliance standards and international shipping regulations.
Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management method and software, and MS Excel.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic maritime operational environments.
