What you'll be doing:
- Supervise and coordinate the tax compliance activities, including timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payments
- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to support the company's business objectives
- Ensure the company's adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential tax risks
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and growth
- Stay updated on the latest tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices
- Actively participate in tax audits and represent the company in discussions with tax authorities
What we're looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the accounting or finance industry
- Strong technical knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, value-added tax, and withholding tax
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate risks
- Proficient in tax software and technology tools to ensure efficient tax compliance and reporting
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders, including cross-functional teams and tax authorities
- Ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering their professional development
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a CPA or tax certification is preferred
