We’re Hiring: Finance, Accounting, and Tax Supervisor | Jakarta
What You’ll Do
• Supervise and manage daily accounting operations – maintain the general ledger, post journal entries, and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate, up-to-date financial records.
• Lead month-end close and reporting – prepare and review financial statements (income statements, balance sheets) and produce detailed management reports for leadership.
• Perform financial analysis – analyze budgets vs. actuals, conduct cost accounting reviews, and deliver insights (e.g. P&L drivers) to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee cash flow – forecast cash flows, monitor daily cash and bank balances, and work with Treasury to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Ensure tax compliance – calculate, report and file Indonesian taxes (corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, etc.) accurately and on schedule, partnering with external tax consultants as needed.
• Coordinate audits and controls – work with external auditors and internal teams to support statutory audits and compliance checks and maintain strong internal financial controls.
• Drive process improvements – identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and implement best practices (including ERP system enhancements), and mentor/train junior accounting staff.
What We’re Looking For
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field; at least 5 years’ professional experience in accounting/tax (having supervisor role preferred).
• Professional Qualifications: Hold Brevet A and B tax certifications (Perpajakan A/B).
• Technical Skills: Solid understanding of Indonesian GAAP (PSAK) and tax laws (corporate tax, VAT/PPN, withholding taxes, etc.); advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with accounting/ERP software (SAP, Business Central, CoreTax or similar).
• Analytical & Detail-Oriented: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communication: Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (written and verbal); English proficiency is a plus for reporting and cross-team collaboration.
• Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Location: Based in (or willing to relocate to) Jakarta Utara (Kelapa Gading) for full-time on-site work.
