Position: Student Retention Officer for Education Sector
Location: Yogtakarta / Magelang
Type: Full-time
The Student Retention Officer is responsible for maintaining student satisfaction, engagement, and retention throughout their learning journey. This role focuses on building strong relationships with students and parents, monitoring student progress, identifying potential concerns, and ensuring students continue their programs successfully.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.
- Monitor student attendance, progress, and engagement regularly.
- Conduct follow-ups with inactive or at-risk students to improve retention.
- Handle student concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally.
- Coordinate with academic and operational teams to ensure smooth student experience.
- Provide consultation regarding class schedules, learning progress, and program continuation.
- Support renewal, re-enrollment, and upselling of educational programs when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate student records and update CRM/database systems.
- Prepare retention reports and provide insights to management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and achievement of retention targets.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communication, Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in customer service, student relations, retention, or sales support, preferably in the education industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good problem-solving and conflict-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable handling students and parents from various backgrounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Fluent in English is a plus.
