Job description for Student Advisor Retention at Sparks Education

We are currently looking for passionate and target-driven individuals to join our team as Student Advisor. Responsible for maintaining parent relationships and ensuring student renewals through proactive communication, issue resolution, and early identification of churn risks.

Job Description:

  • Maintain strong relationships with parents to ensure a positive learning experience and long-term engagement with the program.
  • Proactively communicate with parents to monitor student progress and encourage program renewals.
  • Identify potential churn risks and address concerns before they lead to student drop-off.
  • Handle parent inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and solution-oriented manner.
  • Coordinate with academic and operational teams to resolve issues related to student learning or scheduling.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with parents to maintain engagement and ensure continuity in the learning program.
  • Manage and track parent communication, renewal status, and student data through CRM or internal systems.
  • Support the achievement of retention and renewal targets through proactive relationship management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from any major.
  • 1–3 years of experience in customer success, account management, retention, or sales roles.
  • Comfortable managing 50–200 active clients simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • Able to handle complaints and difficult conversations with parents professionally.
  • Organized and disciplined in follow-ups and data tracking using tools such as Google Sheets or CRM.
  • Comfortable discussing renewals, program packages, and pricing with parents.
  • Proactive in identifying churn risks and resolving issues.
